American furniture and interior designer who brought an artist's eye for bold color and form and a lively wit to the craft of design in the 1980's and 90's, died in 2001, at 45.

Sculptural lounge chair constructed of reinforced fiberglass body on a heavy powder-coated metal base. "Statuette" was designed by the late Lloyd Schwan for Cappellini in 1995, and is the original date of purchase of this chair. Stamped.
