The Gluon chair was conceived as an object to appeal to the masses that, being modular, could adapt to a wide variety of settings. The void in the centre acts as an air cushion to make it comfortable to sit on, and the hole wasn’t just about styling, but the function of the chair.
This version is the revolving one.
A 4 feet was produced, but this version is more compatible with his design history. The invisible fixation system under the foot is the same design used in the helice lamp on top and bottom, designed one year before.
