Edra was interested by Peter Traag experimentations. Soon Edra edited the sponge armchair and the mummy chair.
Mummy chair is based on a regular traditionnal chair, but with a new fabric never used in furniture industry.

The Mummy chair by Edra is created by weawing 55 meters of polyester coloured or metallised elastic ribbon around the beech wood structure.
